Software Developer

Overview

As a Software Developer at Impetik, you'll ship production code that runs critical infrastructure for government institutions and large enterprises. You'll work across the stack on web platforms, APIs, and integrations — collaborating closely with cloud engineers, designers, and consultants on engagements that have real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build features end-to-end across backend services and frontend applications.
• Write clean, well-tested code with a strong eye for performance and maintainability.
• Integrate with Microsoft Azure, identity providers, and third-party government APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise the engineering bar across the team.
• Pair with consultants to translate stakeholder requirements into shippable software.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or C#, plus React or a comparable framework.
• Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs and relational data models.
• Comfortable working in cloud environments (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to work autonomously.

Additional Skills

• .NET / Node.js backend depth
• Astro, Next.js, or similar SSR frameworks
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, Terraform)
• Knowledge of Somali/Arabic is a plus
